General positions


Only entries that have been published or represented in the mass-media or embodied in other form (accepted by the client) during January 2013 – April 2014 incl. are accepted for participation in the competition program of the Kyiv International Advertising Festival. All materials, documentation and payment must be received in the Festival office till April 25. For registration, click here.

To take part in the festival program all participants should fill registration and entry forms in English (Ukrainian and Russian versions are optional). 


Entry files (audio, video, image) must be accompanied by an English translation in the form of:

1.  An English translation in the “Creative idea” field

2.  An English translation in the footnote of image

3.  An English subtitle for the video presentation

Confidentiality of judging:  Agency name and logo should not be cited in the files, links and description of entry that will be seen by judges. Jury shouldn’t know whose entry they judge.


One and the same entry, series of entries or advertising campaign should be submitted no more than in 2 categories of each contest, except contests E. Film Craft, BC. Print Craft, DC. Radio Craft and G. Digital&Mobile

Entries without applications, registration form and payment are not accepted.

Each entrant confirms to the Organizers that they have the legal right to enter the Festival on the terms of these entry rules. Each entrant in demnifies the Organizers against all liability to any other person, firm or company and all loss a rising from a breach by the entrant of any of these rules. Each entrant guarantees copyright observance (legal use of the music, photos, texts etc.) and commits himself to solve possible copyright debates. Winners of the festival may use prizes and diplomas of KIAF for popularization their creative work.

Kyiv International Advertising Festival  is open to all creative, marketing, communication and media agencies, advertisers, clients, design or production houses, TV houses from: Albania, Austria, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Malta, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

Also, in Festival program could take part entries from other countries, but only if entries had been created for an ad market from countries list above.

Contest G. Digital & Mobile and H. Creative use of media are open to participants from worldwide.
