Description | Schnaps is an alcoholic beverage which package execution is not regulated at the Russian market. A graphic concept of the label came from the product name. “Babkin schnaps” is a paradox and play of word meanings: combination of informal Russian addressing to an old lady and name of the traditional German alcoholic beverage. To increase the contrast in beverage name it was decided to place a stylized image of Babka (eng. old lady) on the schnaps label. Babka is an active old lady who “belongs” to the youth. Despite her age, she continues to be in the picture, she is great on the art and follows modern trends. A bright, slightly psychedelic label solves the problem of product positioning at the market among 25-35 year-old consumers liable to bohemian active life. The label is bright; it draws attention and has the traces of 90s. Each type of the beverage has its own colour of package. 4 flavours — juniper, gooseberry, ginger and clove. |
