Description | As part of quest to better understand the dynamics of the Russian consumer landscape, the Moscow office of a well-known international agency launched its Russian Insights Program to track consumer trends in this fast-evolving market. The first-wave results were published in a printed booklet, and were incorporated into a presentation for potential clients and media in London and Moscow. Soon, these Russian Insights-related activities were extending far beyond the agency's initial ambitions: posters, event invitations, PowerPoint slides, signage, digital newsletter and other materials were developed – all using one consistent visual style. Given that the Russian Insights research was designed to present a fresh point-of-view on the Russian consumer to an international audience, we took a traditional Russian symbol – the bear – and put a new spin on it. Our bear, unlike most, was friendly and approachable. This simple, lively, memorable, and most importantly charming, illustrations style gave traditional constructivist designs a fresh twist. |
