ProductInsurance Agent Position
DescriptionAldagi BCI is one of the largest insurance providers in Georgia with a significant personnel turnover, so it’s constantly looking for new insurance agents. The company isn’t afraid to put its trust in young, energetic people, but it usually takes a lot of time and money to find the suitable candidates.

Challenge

How do we cut down on the traditional costs of searching for and training new recruits?

Solution

We experimented with outsourcing the first steps of human resource management to Facebook - place where our target market usually goes to waste some time.

Our app Aldagi Academy doesn’t simply call for applications or a completed resume, but helps the candidates to prepare for the job, educates them, and motivates them to work in the insurance industry.

Aldagi Academy is a training ground for entry-level insurance agent. The app provides access to the basic knowledge of the insurance industry and the selling techniques. The full course is divided into a few video lectures, so anyone with considerable determination can become a part of Aldagi team. The course climaxes in an examination to test the awareness of the future agent, and if the test is successful the candidate is invited to an interview to secure the job.

Above all, the app provides insight into the contemporary world of insurance and presents a realistic model of professional growth (illustrated by salary and fee dynamics). Aldagi Academy fully integrates with Facebook, so any notable achievement or awards becomes a part of candidate's timeline.

Campaign Performance

During two months from November-December 2013, the app was installed around 8,000 times. Around 600 candidates took the final exam and 400 of them got the interview. 200 of them showed up, and around 60 recruits are now trainees at Aldagi.
