DescriptionDelta Bank is a well-known, active, even aggressive retail bank that promptly joined corporative sector of Ukraine. It was necessary to adjust the bank's image, to show its contribution to society and social responsibility. We decided to create a project that will bring real benefits. For the Bank it is better to operate in the country of rich, healthy and smart people.
We payed attention to future researchers, innovators, engineers and entrepreneurs. We decided to support winners of regional competitions in mathematics and those who taught them. These are students and their teachers living in villages and small towns. We decided to motivate teachers to teach and talented students to develop.
It were 4 stages of the project:
1. We invited all winners of regional competitions to visit free business-сamp Delta Camp - a three-day intensive training on basics of entrepreneurship.Business-camps were held in 10 beautiful cities of Ukraine. Thoroughly elaborated program was taught by 20 charismatic entrepreneurs.
2. Teachers of competition winners received for their efforts a reward in the amount of 3500 UAH which they could cashed in the nearest Delta Bank office.
3. We organized Gratitude Post in 80 offices of Delta Bank and offered customers of the Bank to send their congratulations postcards with congratulations, memories and gratitude to their teachers.
4. On the eve of Teachers' Day we conducted dance flash-mobs in the central areas of 5 largest cities in Ukraine. In such way teachers across the country received public congratulations from their grateful students.
Results:
118 participants of Delta Camp are our true ambassadors
384 teachers received awards for their efforts
6424 Ukrainians congratulated their teachers using Gratitude Post
1000 children in 5 cities of Ukraine took part in dance flash-mobs
Flash-mobs were covered by 15 TV channels and 169 online-media
Positive image of Delta Bank as a socially responsible company grew
Delta Bank decided to continue supporting talented kids.
