Jakub got into creative advertising after he realised he won’t make a career working as an accountant nor a submarine commander.

He first set up on the journey as a graphic designer in 1994, then he tried to be an art-director, a creative shop owner, a BTL specialist and a commercial director and finally an executive creative director handling not only local campaigns but also some pan-European (or pan-African) accounts or projects.

His first agency was Lintas, then he went on to Euro RSCG (both Czech and Slovak branches), McCann/Momentum in Prague, where he took a small detour through McCann West Africa (based in Lagos) on his way back to Prague as JWT’s creative head, before he sailed to his current port in Almaty.

His ad awards range from numerous local Czech ADC Louskáčeks, Golden Hammers, Golden Drum, a couple Red Apples and several LIAFs, to bigger ones like Eurobest or Epica, plus he also left his footprint (read: one) in NYC festival.
