Vakho Vakhtangishvili

CEO, Co-Founder, Creative Director at LeavingStone (Georgia)

In 2009 Vakho graduated from European School of Management (at present ESM Business School under Free University of Tbilisi) and is a Bachelor of Business Administration.

Along with the education in June 2007 Vakho started working as a copyrighter and later as a project manager at Wizard Advertising, planning and executing marketing activities for leading Georgian companies like MagtiGSM, AldagiBCI, Populi etc. After 6 month of working experience at the agency Vakho decided to quit due to the need for freedom to do what he liked most.

In April 2008, at the age of 20, with three friends Vakho started a new venture, a digital agency TOPgroup, providing Digital Marketing and Web Solutions to the Georgian companies. In 2010, due to rising demand for Digital and Social Media Marketing the new brand - LeavingStone has been created under TOPgroup that for now represents one of the leading digital agencies in Georgia.

LeavingStone plans and performs digital marketing activities for top companies in the region -  JSC TBC Bank, JSC Bank Constanta, Geocell (TeliaSonera), Azercell (TeliaSonera), JSC Silknet, GPI Holding etc.

LeavingStone has always been in the vanguard of digital media activism, seeking thrilling ways of appealing to growing audiences. Recently our efforts were celebrated at Kiev International Advertising Festival with a Silver Award for Creative Use of Media for the campaign “A Profile Picture is Worth a Thousand Words” and two awards at Golden Hammer a Silver Award for the Best Use of Internet Media and a diploma in Social Media category.

Vakho believes that web and online in general is a terrific place for brands to exist. It is the next big wave of human communication enabling companies to maintain an instant, rich and valuable connection with almost the whole population of Earth. Traditional communications channels have mutated, fragmented and diversified to create a spectrum of media experiences that give consumers unlimited options and freedom of choice. And while brands will offer something new, authentic and genuinely interesting, they not only get the people to pay attention, they will engage them in a way that has true mutual benefit and value. As for the future, Vakho believes that the next big challenge for brands will be a seamless integration of the physical and interactive world. It is inevitable, as after all, the future of online is offline.
