From 1997 to 2009 he was an art director at the design studio Printinfo. Since 2009 Garegin was an Art Director at Publicis Armenia. 

He was a member of the jury of the Granshan - International competition of type design  (Yerevan). In 2013 he founded  The Sign studio. 

He is a member of the Art-board of the brand of Yerevan. Winner of awards of different international advertising festivals: KIAF MIAF, White Square.
